COMSOL is offering multiple positions for physicists and mathematicians for development positions in its office in Burlington, MA. Positions are open to develop software with applications in MEMS, Plasma, Microfluidics and Particle tracing. You will work on the design and development of our modeling interface and the corresponding documentation.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in physics, applied mathematics or similar
- Minimum 2 years industrial experience
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Experience in using COMSOL Multiphysics preferred
Skills
- Fundamentally sound knowledge of vector& tensor calculus, partial
differential equations and coordinate systems
- Familiarity with the arbitrary lagrangian eulerian method (ALE)
- Familiarity with microsystems and fluid mechanics
- Good written English and ability to write concise technical documentation
Qualities
- Genuine interest in physics and mathematics
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good verbal communication skills
- Fast learner with results-oriented work habits
