Global Definitions - Help

Hi,

I am trying to define a wavelength variable in Global Definition > Parameters. I want to place this variable called 'lambda' in Study 1 > Step 1: Mode Analysis > Mode analysis frequency. There I have written "c_const/lambda" after defining it in Global Definitions but I get error message when I try to run the simulation.

Any help on what I can do to fix this?

Have version 4.1.

Many thanks in advance.

EDIT:

What is the difference between parameters and variables in COMSOL?

Hi

I believe that lambda is already used by COMSOL, so call it my_lambda, then probably it wiull work.

Be aware that many 1 lettres names are alread used up, and some greek names too
