About microwave heating problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to do microwave heating simulation of a simple rectangular waveguide.
I would like to calculate temperature distribution of copper due to microwave power transmission.
Input power is 10kW, and Frequency-Stationary is used for study type.
EM simulation result could be obtained with this simulation setup in the attached file.

My problem is, however the Temperature result is not available with this setup.
Since I am new to this area, would anyone help me to find a right setup for microwave heating?
I attach my simulation file created in COMSOL 4.2 version.

Thank you so much. I would really appreciated if you give me a clue.
Regards, Ki

Ki,

Rather than using the RF module, try using Heat Transfer>Electromagnetic Heating>Microwave Heating (mh)

I think that will give you more what you are looking for!
