phase of the wave

Hi

I want to extract the phase information from the 2 port S-parameters for a plane wave normally incident on my scattering object. If my incident wave is originated from port 1 with (input phase=0) and received at port 2 having the scattering object in the middle.

Thanks,

Hi

check the doc for the wortd "phasor" COMSOL shows mostly the real part, but many variables are complex so you can look at the imag() and the real() entities. New features have appeared in 4.2a to dedozble the complex variables, butI havnt looked into these yet

Good luck
