Copying stress field from component 1 to component 2

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated. I will try explain as best as possible (using COMSOL 5.5).

My first component is a simple rectnagular geometry, where I prescribe a displacement at certain points along one interface. This essentially deforms the geometry, creating a von Mises stress field within the deformed domain.

I then want to simulate varies species growing within the deformed geometry which are directly linked to the previously computed von Mises stress field. Essentially, in other words, can this exact stress field be inputted as some sort of initial condition (without the LiveLink features).

I tried looking at defining this value (solid.mises) as a global variable, but the initial conditions which are directly related to this value highlight yellow, so something must not be right.

Hope to hear back from someone.

Best, Alistair
