Units in parameter cases

Dear colleagues, In order to use a parametric sweep I am defining cases to my default parameter list. Now, when defining units in these cases I get an error message. Apparently I must define the cases as purely numerical value. My question is: Is the unit inherited from the parameter list or not? Let's assume I define a length L1 as 5 [mm] in the parameter list and as 10 in case 1. Is the value now in [mm] as in the parameter list or in [cm] which is the globally define unit for length? Thanks for your help.
