Temp field as initial condition

Hi,

I am looking at a problem with an oscillating temperature field. The temperature field oscillates from a varying load.
After a short time the behaviour of the temperature field resembles harmonic oscillation.

From this temperature field i would like to calculate elasto-plastic deformations for a single "temperature oscillation". The reason for this is naturally to speed up the computations.

The problem is now: Is it possible to only evaluate elasto-plastic behaviour in a limited time interval?

Say the temperature field stabilises after 1s and the period of the oscillations is ½s. Can i solve the elasto-plastic problem from 1s to 1½s ?

Best regards,
Kristian
