Periodic Boundaries in 3D :: # of Vertices Needed?

Hi

Question: When mapping source vertices to destination vertices of a boundary in 3D is it sufficient to only map 3 vertices of boundary that has has more than 3?

Hi

normally for a 2D to 2D mapping you need 3 vertices, origine, X-direction, Y-direction, for full 3D you need the last Z-direction hence a 4th vertex
