insertion model postproessing problem

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all:

I am trying to model a probe inserting into the brain (represented by a cube). I have drawn a few points on the surface of the brain and also in the interior of the brain, and I want to monitor the change in the stress at these points as the probe is inserted into the brain.

The problem I am having right now is that in postprocessing - point evaluation, I cannot evaluate the stress at these points. The error I am getting is the following:

Error: 6099
Evaluation of post processing expression failed
Failed to evaluate operator.
- Operator: mean
- Geometry: 1
- Points: 9,10,11,12,21,22,23,24
Failed to evaluate expression.
- Expression: mises_sld

I have also tried to defining point integration coupling variables to these points before solving, and still I get the same error. Is this because the mesh is not fine enough? Is there anyway to find the stress at arbitrary points that I have defined?

Thank you,

Joe
