The performance of capacitors, inductors, motors, and microsensors are best optimized through first simulating their behavior in their surrounding environments. Although this is principally characterized by electromagnetics, there are also contributing effects from other types of physics. The AC/DC Module and COMSOL Multiphysics are ideal for such simulations.
