The rotating permanent magnet heater is an high efficient system for the electromagnetic heating of Aluminium billet bifore the extrusion process. In the paper will explained how to modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics® the system form the electromagnetic point of view using the ACDC Module, and from the thermal point of view. The aim of work is to simulate the thermal transient in aluminium billet for different rotation speed of permanent magnets. The simulation is composed by five concatenated studi electromagnetic and thermal, and the complete solution of thermal transient is carried out with and automatic form realized by the Application Builder.
