We will start by presenting the new ability to define direction-dependent surface properties for surface-to-surface radiation. You can use this functionality to model anisotropic surfaces such as textured surfaces where, for example, the emissivity is directionally dependent. Other news includes a Phase Change Interface boundary condition, a framework for defining and using porous materials in simulations, and features for heat and moisture transport in porous media. Performance improvements for nonisothermal flow in ideal gases and improvement for energy balance postprocessing variables will also be presented.
