Optimizing the Energy Performance of Buildings with Simulation
The energy performance of buildings is largely conditioned by the hygrothermal balance of their envelope.
When constructing or renovating buildings, numerical simulation of hygrothermal phenomena is a valuable tool for optimizing the choice of advanced materials or the design of composite walls. Among the issues at stake are the efficiency and cost of heating and ventilation systems, the safety and durability of the envelopes, and the comfort of the occupants.
In this webinar, we will present the tools in COMSOL Multiphysics® for evaluating hygrothermal exchange, taking into account environmental conditions, postprocessing energy performance criteria, and optimizing building design.
You are invited to ask questions throughout the webinar.
