How to make the solver converge?

I am trying to simulate a MESFET in COMSOL 5.3a. But when studying the drain current - voltage characteristics, the range of my Vg and Vd influences much. It doesn't converge all the time. The error is : Failed to find a solution for all parameters, even when using the minimum parameter step. No convergence, even when using the minimum damping factor. Returned solution is not converged. Not all parameter steps returned.
I tried to decrease the minimum damping factor, like to 1e-10 and that doesn't work Nor increasing the number of iterations. I also tried other solvers but it still doesn't converge.
Anyone knows how to solve this? Thank you very much!
