Inlet and Outlet Conditions for Concentration Profile Over Time

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, I have a little familiarity with COMSOL but, I suspect that what I'm trying to do is more advanced. I'm trying to model concentration depletion over time. My model is 2D with water flowing around a small rectangle that acts as an infinite sink for my species that is being diffused. Right now, the fluid flow is continuous and not recycled. I would like to model the fluid as being returned to the inlet to see how the concentration profile at the outlet changes over time.

Hi Anna,

you can use the Periodic Condition to do so.

Best regards Michael
