COMSOL, Inc. is looking for an intern to join the Sales Development team, who will gain hands-on experience by supporting the growth of prospective and existing accounts. You’ll work closely with seasoned COMSOL sales representatives and managers.
Through this collaboration you’ll build key skills in business intelligence, sales outreach, database health, lead qualification, project management, and cross-functional communication. You’ll gain valuable exposure to the sales process for advanced design software within a highly technical environment, that spans industry, research, and academic settings alike.
COMSOL’s internship program is available for high school students. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospects within existing and prospective accounts
- Work together with sales department on account planning to develop existing accounts and establish new ones
- Support the sales staff in various aspects of the sales process including setting up calls or meetings between prospective customers and sales representatives and managers
- Promote upcoming COMSOL events via email and phone
- Support CRM health with activities such as data entry and maintenance
- Facilitate COMSOL’s Customer Care Program
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Interest in technical sales and customer engagement
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Current eligibility to work in USA; no sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, science, business or related field
- Selling goods or services in any prior role
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Comfort with phone, email, and video communication
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
Duration & Compensation
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $20/hour for 24 hours per week. Expected to work three 8-hour days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week.
- Duration: Tuesday, July 1, 2025 – Thursday, August 28, 2025 consisting of 27 working days
