What's the meaning of this expression?

When I read the comsol example, I saw such kind of experession "d(Tem11, x)+d(Tem12, y)", I don't know what's the meaning of this expression, does it can be thought as "dTem11/dx + dTem12/dy "?

Hi

that is how I would interprete them, but I'm not sure what Tem11 and 21 are ;)
could be two tensor components of a variable "Tem"
