Meshing for turbulent flow

Hi

My model is turbulent flow in 3-D pipe and this pipe subject to heat flux at upper surface of the pipe. So there are

solid and fluid domains. My question is, what is the best mesh for this case

in 4.1 and CFD I always let COMSOL propose a mesh first (based on the physics). Then I analyse it and decide to change or not, and often I let it go as is at least for a first analysis. If it solves fully or partly, I have the indications of the gradients and the cell Reaynolds number, that helps to decide what to do with the mesh for the final run.

V4.1 is now really good for quite complex CFD, but I must state I do not have any comparison of "real complex CFD" as done with other tools
