Value of a boundary variable at nearest point on the boundary

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all, I have a boundary between two domains, with a boundary variable A that varies over that boundary. I also have a domain variable B(R) in one of the domains adjacent to the boundary. In order to calculate the value of B at R, I require the value of A at the point on the boundary nearest to the point R (or rather, at the point on the boundary for which the boundary normal passes through R). Does anyone know of an operator or combination of operators that would allow me to do that? Many thanks!
