Multi-material topology optimization

Dear All, Hello! I am simulating multi-material topology optimization, which limits the geometry structure but changes the stiffness by multiple materials distribution in geometry.

I already found the toplogy optimization case files in the applications library, all of them are about structural topology optimization on one material.

There is an article about multi-material topology https://www.comsol.com/paper/multiphysics-multi-material-topology-optimization-of-a-thermal-actuator-with-com-81651

But I did not know how to reproduce this simulation. May I ask for a case file or more technological tutorial details? How to assign diffrent materials in one domain, and how to set the multi-material interpolation type?

Thanks in advance!

You can look at the room acoustics application library file. In acoustic topopt you have two different materials; air and 'solid' (which is still a fluid, though). You can see more about this multi material phase topopt on my blog post (https://www.comsol.dk/blogs/how-to-use-acoustic-topology-optimization-in-your-simulation-studies/) or look up the topic in Topology Optimization by Bendsø and Sigmund.
