Exporting the result data

Hello !!

Can anyone please help me on exporting the data obtained by solving equations in COMSOL, say the velocity or temperature values at all the co-ordinates, into a text file or an excel spreadsheet, or a post processing software such as CFD-Post or Tecplot ?

Thanks a lot

Hi

there are many export means, check the doc nd search the forum. In summary, you have the Data-set sub node export, or cut plane - export, here you have different ways to define the grid and the export format, then Export node and save data.
You can also use the Results - Derived Variables to make tables and export these, or make plots and export the plot or the plot data, depending on which snode/sub node you select for applying the command. most export commands make an entry in the Export node, whre you can define file name, format, grid distribution, interpoaltion functins etc

Good luck
