two-phase flow under large wetting angle (phase field method)

I am a new learner for COMSOL software. I want to simulate oil-water flow through phase field method. Initially, the porous media is saturated with oil (fluid 2). So, the contact angle represents the oil contact angle. I found that the smaller the oil contact angle is, the longer the computation time is. Whether this is the normal phenomenon ? In addition, when the oil contact angle is set to be 120, the residual oil in the dead ends will disappear suddenly (See figures in appendix ), how can I solve this problem? Can someone help me with my problem please? Thanks
