Error in Flow Rate calculation in Laminar flow module

I am conducting a pipe flow simulation using the laminar flow physics module. I gave an inlet standard flow rate of 0.1cc/sec and gauge pressure as the outlet. After solving the setup, I conducted the surface integration of the velocity vector(spf.U) across the inlet and notice that it is not showing me the same 0.1cc/sec that I had initially entered. I tried with various configurations and dimensions of the pipe, but still getting the same erroneous result. The result I am getting is scaled down by a value of 1.43x10^-3. I tried with other CFD software and achieved correct results. Please help me understand why COMSOL is doing this. Thanks

Hello Alap,

You can read in the CFD Module's User's Guide, version 6.0, page 109, what the Standard Flow Rate condition means. Perhaps it is not what you presume.

Best,

Jeff
