How to simulate Dielectrophoresis in Comsol?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,
I am new to this comsol. I want to simulate the effect of dielectrophoretic force on charged particles. I have arrays of microelectrodes and I want to apply AC electric field (like 40V 10khz). I am using comsol 3.4. So can you suggest me how to do it? or how to select the appropriate physics for this problem?

Regards
Tasrif

Hi

I believe that with the v3 you have to write out all the equations as separate PDEs yourself, in v4.3 with the particle module you have most of it pre-cooked for you by COMSOL

Good luck
