Time dependant signal at inlet

Hi all!

I am trying to implement a time-dependant inlet velocity.

What does 'location' mean and what unit is associated with this variable? Is it time or length? If length, is it meter of millimeter?

Also, when you plot up the step, what are the units on the axes? It must be time, no?

it's not possible for us out here to understand what you are talking about, try to give at least the physics, GUI tab name or better a screen capture

as I find no location on any of my obvious inlet GUI tab's

In general COMSOl accepts any equation for any entry field in the GUI, so you might vrite v0+DV*t with V0 initial velocity in m/s, DV velocity change in m/s^2, while "t" has a "s" unit by default
