Adding Randomness to Parameters

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to model how copper and lead will behave if subjected to a physics, and i need to generate lots of data to continue my research. I also want to be able to model it with randomness to the geomety such as the diameter, length etc. of the pipes.

How can i add these random fucntion to me parameter. I tried using live link to do that in matlab, but the model did not converge.

Thank you.

Hello Zul,

You can generate random geometries by using model methods, as described in this blog post.

You can automatically run the same model for several values of some parameters by using a parametric sweep.

Best regards,

Jeff
