Developing and Deploying Simulation Apps with COMSOL® 5.6

Simulation apps help make multiphysics simulation accessible to anyone, anywhere. In this archived presentation, we share the what, why, and how of developing and deploying simulation apps with the COMSOL® software.

First we introduce our philosophy behind simulation apps, then we go into detail on how to create them using the Application Builder in COMSOL Multiphysics®. During the demo, you get an introduction to the features and functionality available in the Application Builder as of COMSOL Multiphysics® version 5.6, including:

  • New layout templates
  • Form Editor and Method Editor improvements
  • Knob form object

After demonstrating how to build a simple app, we show you how to compile it into a standalone executable file using COMSOL Compiler™. We also discuss the differences between the COMSOL Compiler™ and COMSOL Server™ deployment products.

Tip: After watching the video, catch all of the Application Builder news on the COMSOL Multiphysics® 5.6 Release Highlights page.
