Keynote: Designing Durable Audio Transducers with Simulation

In his keynote talk at the COMSOL Conference 2017 Boston, Richard Little of Sonos shares how he uses the COMSOL Multiphysics® software to design loudspeaker audio transducers that can withstand the rigors of operation, handling, and environment. He also discusses different practices and challenges involved with designing durable transducers in a predictive manner.

Richard Little has over 20 years of experience in loudspeaker engineering and leads the R&D team for audio transducers at Sonos. His areas of expertise include audio transducer engineering and manufacturing, loudspeaker systems design, magnetics engineering, acoustic circuit modeling, finite element analysis, and reliability engineering.
