Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I just started to use comsol for simulation an electroplating process

and to understand the process I tried out Electrochemical Copper Deposition model

after i computed it shown as an attached file

then i see an error in the problem function that

Failed to find consistent initial values.
Singular matrix

could anyone explain about this?

Thank you very much,

Hi

are you shure that when you impose two current sources and no drain that you have an equilibre in the current flow ?

Failed to find initial conditions is typically there when the BC's and model set-up is not coherent

Good luck
