Hi, I am new to comsol.I have created a geometry which has silicon block on which there is a platinum strip to study the Joule heating due to current flow through platinum strip. On computing it shows the following error message: Failed to find a solution. In Segregated step 1: Very ill-conditioned preconditioner. The relative residual is more than 2000 times larger than the relative tolerance. Returned solution is not converged. -Feature:Staionary Solver1(sol1/s1) Please help me to find out what the error means and what should I do to compute the program. With Regards Minna.
