Heat transfer problem

I have a question about combination PDE with heat transfer model
In my work,there are 2 conjunct boxes. One has heat source with customized heat equation.
and the other box only has heat transfer. The flux should flow between 2 boxes.
1. A PDE is used to customized heat transfer in first box.
PDE dependent variable field name is set to "T"
2. A standard heat transfer module is applied in 2nd box.
But they doesn't work well. The heat can't be transferred from 1 to 2.
I find that maybe comsol doesn't treat PDE's "T" as temperature.
How to link the PDE and heat transfer module by temperature?
Anyone can help me?
