problem with if condition

hello,

I have been trying to put condition in heat source

like heat flux= (t>=1e-6)*0+(t<=1e-12)*10e6

and my time dependent:

times: range(1e-6,1e-6,2e-6) range(2e-6,1e-12,2.000010e-6 ) range(2.000010e-6, 1e-6,10e-6)

when I run solution it is not giving me any heat flux!..(as per my idea it should give me heat flux in interval of range(2e-6,1e-12,2.000010e-6 ) but it is not)....... !!!!!

Please kindly reply if any one has idea how to put condition so that heat source will have value!!!

Hi,

your heat source is only on in the interval [0, 1e-12s], afterwards it is off. I do not clearly understand which time behavior you actually want.

Cheers
Edgar

hi, Edgar,

thanks for your interest in my problem,

I want that my hear flux shoud be 0 in interval of range(1e-6,1e-6,2e-6) and range(2.000010e-6, 1e-6,10e-6)

.

And I should get heat source in interval of range(2e-6,1e-12,2.000010e-6 ), as per my condition!!!

but I am not getting any heat flux!!!

Thanks in advance ...
