mean curvature, how i can calculate and prove is correct?

Hello

I'm trying to get a calculation of mean curvature using phase field method. An using this expression:

k = 2*(1-phipf)*(1+phipf)*tpf.G/tpf.sigma

in a Laminar Two-Phase Flow simulation. But I'm not sure my results are ok.

Some suggestion about how do yo calculate the mean curvature?
