lumped port terminal options

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could explain the terminal type options in the lumped port node of the rf module. The three choices are cable, current and circuit. There is little explanation on what exactly they represent in the help documentation.
We are driving a resonant structure with a cable type terminal, and we are finding the S parameters to be transmission line length dependent. We are wondering if the circuit terminal is the correct one to use.

For extra credit, we were wondering if there was a way to put a 50 ohm termination on a transmission line.
