Piezoelectric transformer - eigenfrequency analysis

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

I am simulating a rectangular piezoelectric transformer using Multiphysics and MEMS module.
When I run the eigenfrequency analysis and the frequency domain analysis, the results seem to match but the eigenfrequencies I obtain are very close to each other. I have defined a material in its stress charge form. The geometry and material properties correspond to resonant frequencies that are multiples of the 1st harmonic frequency (close to 50kHz). The frequencies I am getting are all very close to the 1st eigenfreq (approx. 50kHz).
Aren't eigenfrequencies supposed to be harmonics? I am attaching my model for reference.

Is there any parameter I have missed? Can anyone help?

Thanks.
Sneha
