Convergence issue

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

I'm having a problem with convergence in comsol 4.2a. I'm running a simulation and at a certain time the non-linear solver starts to present convergence problem (for example taking to many iterations). At this point it looks like my simulation will take forever to converge.

However, if I stop the simulation, and then continue it it works perfectly again for some time (sometimes for the rest of the simulation). Does anybody knows if there is a way to address this issue? Is there any way to make the simulation run altogether without having to stop it every once in a while?

Thank you for your help.
