Uniform deformation of a boundary

Hello,

I use Solid mechanics Module. My geometry is a simple rectangle. How can I do to prescribe that the displacement of one of the boundaries in the moving direction is uniform?

Thanks in advance,
Damintode

Hi

if you do a time dependent study, you can apply a prescribed velocity or acceleration (in v4), but be aware that if you leave the default all "0" initial conditions you are giving your system a kick of the type hammer tap to start with that might give you many ringing modes and for quite some time on, hence a solver convergence and time to wait for stabilisation issue

Good luck
