Dear Mr. Sönnerlind: Thank you for reply the discussion"How To Select All Surfaces Outside A Complex Assembly At Once?", I had tried the way you suggested, but sorry it's not what my expected. So please check my operations OK? I'll appreciate that.

1.My model is a box with a lid. 1

2.I want to click a surface on the outside of the box, and then all of the surfaces outside can be selected(not include the inside). 2

3.But now I can do is: first I should select boundary, and then I selected the group by continuous tangent, set the deg 100, after that, I click a surface outside, only the domain with the surface I clicked, it's surfaces outside can be selected, not include the lid, so I must click a surface on the lid, so I can have all surfaces outside. It seems can't be contact between domains. 3

So my purpose is one click, all surfaces outside can be selected. 4

It's my way, so please tell what is my problem, I'll appreciate that.

Thanks a lot and best regards.
