Eddy current in 3d

Hi,
I've been trying to solve eddy current problems with conductors in motion in constant magnetic fields using 3d models.
I've done many attempts but never really found a solution for my problems.

For conductors in motion in a constant magnetic field and having constant cross section at right angles with respect to the velocity, the velocity term in the ungauged magnetostatic formulation has done the job properly. This is the same kind of problem that I found in the Magnetic brake model in the model library.

When instead of considering a constant cross section conductor, I try to consider a varying section one (like a coil for example) the velocity terms are not able to solve the problem properly because the transformer term dA/dt must be considered.
In these cases I tryed to solve the problem by coupling a moving mesh to the ungauged formulation and making the conductor domain move in the static magnetic field. My problem looks very much like an axial flux permanent magnet motor with shunted coils, where instead of moving the magnet I try to move the coil, but in any case this shouldn't make any difference in this case.

I was able to solve the problem in stationary conditions, i.e., calculate the magnetic problem for many different positions of the rotor using the moving mesh and contact pairs, but when I set the transient problem to solve the eddy currents, a solution is not achieved.

I hope that the description of my problem is clear enough.

If any one has ever tryed to solve this kind of problem and could give me some help I will be very thankful.
