Model an underground pipeline for Stresses and Dynamic Loading

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello!

I am an absolute beginner at COMSOL and what I am trying to achieve is building a model to simulate the effect of dynamic loading and soil movement on a buried pipeline( in soil). I would be really glad if someone could tell me what is the best way to approach this problem.

Hoping for an early reply.

Here is an interesting paper on the topic where the simulations were done using COMSOL: el.trc.gov.om/htmlroot/ENGG/tcolon/e_references/Consolidated/Civil%20Engineering/Journals/3D%20Modeling%20of%20Wave-Seabed%20Pipeline%20in%20Marine%20Environments.pdf
