Tangential stresses

Hello,

how can I calculate the tangential stresses of a ring, if the model is 2D axisymmetric?
Have I choose the "Surface Integration" and multiply the total surface for my result because of the symmetry or does Comsol do it automatically?

Hi

open up all the tabs on the integration, in 2D-axi you have an option to have surface integration calculating the full volume by implicitly multiplying by 2*pi*r, but you can also do it by hand ;)

Good luck
