Unexpected Displacement Change in Gear and Rack Calculations

Hi everyone,

When analyzing a simple straight gear and rack model, I applied a fixed displacement to one of the gears to drive the entire system. The goal was to validate the correctness of the model.

However, I encountered Unexpected Sudden Displacement Changes, as shown in the figure below. For reference, a sketch of the system is also attached.

Please let me know if you need any additional information. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you!!

I think you would have to attach a (possibly simplified) copy of your model. It is almost impossible to guess what is causing this.
