I have a racetrack coil that is imported from CAD and I am having trouble exciting current in it. I have no error messages but no flux at all.

Comsol Multiphysics supports many ways to create and/or specify geometries, meshes, the physics equations to apply, the boundary settings, material settings, solver settings, and more. One serious mistake (or two, or three...) in preparing any of them could be responsible for your difficulty. I suggest you post your .mph file to the forum.

For this type of geometry, you are dealing with a numerical type coil, so perhaps you have not added an Input boundary under the Geometry analysis? Or are you missing the Coil Geometry Analysis under the Study. (Just guessing, it has been a while since I did such a coil explicitly)
