Comsol batch recovery option

Hi,

since the documentation of the comsol does not really say much about it, i wanted to ask if someone has already used the -recovery option for comsol batch command? If yes, how specifically?

I was thinking something like this:

comsol batch -recover -inputfile "inptufile_that_crashed.mph" -outputfile "output.mph"

Or should i set the .recovery as input? It would have been nice if the documentation would have shown an example usage of this option.

Best regards, Zoltan

For the -recover option, the working directory (where all .log, and .status files are generated) will contain the recovery file, which contains information about the recovery folder in the case that the COMSOL software stops working. If the -recover option is specified, the model from the recovery directory will be opened. If opening that model succeeds, a continue operation will be performed; otherwise, the input filename model will be simulated.

I think using -recover should be fine cause there should only be one recover file in recovery folder. you can try use -recover only, and if it not work, check the recover directory and then put the complete filename in it.
