Solution not Converging

Hello,

I'm pretty new to COMSOL, and I'm trying to simulate airflow through a diffuser (diverging duct), with gauze screens to prevent separation. I've tried using multiple models, including k-epsilon, k-omega, and SST. The convergence is rather quick when no screens are introduced. However, as soon as I introduce one screen, the error keeps oscillating and the solution never converges.

The boundary conditions are: Inlet: 5 m/s Outlet: 0 Pa Walls: no-slip Inner boundary: wire gauze screen with 0.5 solidity and 0.001m wire diameter

I've attached screenshots of the mesh and the convergence plot using k-epsilon model.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
