How to simulate a two phase fluid flow

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear all,
I have a problem with COMSOL 4.0 and I hope anybody can help me. My assignment is to simulate a two phase fluid flow throw a 2D object. The dimensions of this object:

- height : 0.70m
- width : 0.205m

It`s no problem for me, to simulate a one phase fluid flow. I would like to see whats happen, if fluid two, with a higher dynamic viscosity and a higher density as fluid one, flow throw the object. I hope to see the sediments of fluid two.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks
Sascha

Sascha type in "two phase flow" into the search field of the COMSOL web site, and you'll get many hits which you can then explore. There is even one two phase flow video in the tutorial section if this is what you're looking for.

Good hunting, cheers

Andras
